Background
About the ship
Several battleship projects were developed in Italy collaboratively with the U.S.S.R., including one with nine 406 mm guns in three turrets. If such a ship had been ordered, her construction would have been completed by 1940 or 1941. The battleship would have received Italian armament, developed on the basis of the existing 381 mm guns.
